Job 37:16
Do you understand how he moves the clouds with wonderful perfection and skill?

God’s knowledge is universal. God knows everything there is to know about everything there is to know. God’s knowledge of all things is complete. He doesn’t need to study; there is nothing for him to learn. He knows what will happen tomorrow and 100 years from tomorrow.

He is the cloud mover “with wonderful perfection and skill.”

God’s knowledge is personal. God knows everything there is to know about you. He knows how much you love him and how you desire to please him. He knows your weaknesses and the sins that trip you up. He knows your secret sins, worst thoughts, and greatest fears and loves you anyway.

He is the cloud mover “with wonderful perfection and skill.”

God’s knowledge is unconditional. Think of it! He knows everything about you and loves you anyway. He sent his Son to make you his child. His knowledge about you doesn’t cause him to turn away. He promises that nothing can separate you from his love. God knows you intimately and loves you deeply. There is no need to hide what’s on your heart.

Father, it’s an amazing truth that you, who know all our desires, thoughts, and fears, still love us. Thank you for your amazing love. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
